Q1: Why do I get a blank screen when I try to view a land register image or instrument image?
This is probably because the Java Plug-In is not installed. The Java Plug-In must be installed for the image viewer to work properly. Click on the Java link to the left of the screen, and follow the instructions, to install this plug-in. If the problem persists, contact technical support.

Q2: What is the Java Plug-In and why do I need it?
The Java Plug-In is an extension to your web browser that enables Java applications, such as the Landfolio Document Viewer, to run. There is no cost to you to install this plug-in. Click on the Java link to the left of the screen, and follow the instructions, to install this plug-in. It is only necessary to install this plug-in once.

Q3: What are the subscription levels?
You may subscribe as a limited user or as an unlimited user, for either a three-month, six-month, or twelve-month period. As a limited user, your subscription fee enables you to perform unlimited searches and unlimited use of the interactive parcel map. However, you must purchase product credits in order to retrieve documents and parcel reports. As an unlimited user, your subscription fee grants you unlimited search and retrieval of documents and parcel reports.

Q4: Do I have to subscribe in order to search and retrieve documents?
No, you may search the land records for free, and retrieve specific documents on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Q5: I dont want to use my credit card, is there another way to pay?
Sorry, this website currently accepts only credit cards for payment.

Q11: What if I dont know the exact spelling of a persons name?
If you do not know the exact spelling of a name, or if you want to locate all variations of a name, then use a wildcard character, which is an asterisk (*). For instance, if you search for “J* Charles,” you will locate all people whose last name is “Charles” and whose first name begins with a “J.” If you search for “Mar* Ch*s,” then you will locate all people whose first name begins with “Mar” and whose last name begins with “Ch” and ends with “s,” including Mary Charles and Mark Chambers and Martina Challis.

Q12: What is a wildcard search and how can it help me?
A wildcard search allows you to locate names where you do not know the exact spelling or where you are unsure of all of the variations in spelling. The asterisk character (*) is the wildcard. For instance, if you search for “J* Charles,” you will locate all people whose last name is “Charles” and whose first name begins with a “J.” If you search for “Mar* Ch*s,” then you will locate all people whose first name begins with “Mar” and whose last name begins with “Ch” and ends with “s,” including Mary Charles and Mark Chambers and Martina Challis.

Q13: Is my credit card information secure?

Purchased items are available for download for up to ten (10) days. We recommend that you download and save these documents to your local computer immediately after purchase.

Q17: What is the Adobe Reader and why do I need it?
The Adobe Reader is an extension to your web browser that enables you to view PDF files, such as a Landfolio Parcel Report. There is no cost to you to install this plug-in. Click on the Adobe link to the left of the screen, and follow the instructions, to install this plug-in. It is only necessary to install this plug-in once.
